Discovery and Innovation is a journal of the African Academy of Sciences
(AAS) and the Third World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) meant to focus
attention on science and technology in Africa and the Third World,
emphasizing the progress in scientific research and issues that impinge on
these two areas as well as circumscribe science-driven development.

Discovery and Innovation, the African journal of the sciences and
technology, welcomes authors to submit papers from all areas of Africa,
including South Africa, and in all scientific disciplines including the
social sciences (as they impinge on development in Africa and the Third
World) such as sociology, anthropology, education, economics, geography,
demography, science policy and others.

Discovery and Innovation has been accepted into the international network of
science journals and is being mentioned in Current Contents, Chemical
Abstracts and Biosis, as well as other journals. Thus papers published in
Discovery and Innovation are integrated into the world body of scientific
literature.

The journal publishes papers in English and French.
