The mission of INFORMS Transactions on Education is to advance OR/MS
education at all levels worldwide. The journal publishes high-quality
articles in a variety of areas related to the teaching of OR/MS: cases,
spreadsheet applications, review and opinion articles, resource reviews, and
discussions of the impacts of new technologies and new methods of assessment
on OR/MS education.

The electronic format of the journal allows innovations in content and
reader involvement not possible in a print journal, such as immediate
electronic access to data sets, software, Java applications, interactive
graphics, multimedia applications, hypertext links, and full-text searching.

ITE will take a broad editorial view, and will consider articles that relate
to all aspects of OR/MS education. This includes

* tutorials and classroom-oriented surveys
* case studies and case articles
* review and opinion articles
* spreadsheet applications
* education surveys
* games and puzzles
* discussion of the impact of new technologies
* new methods of assessment
* curriculum development
* reports on controlled experiments
* reviews of software, books, and teaching materials

ITE publishes contributions in the following sections: Papers, Invited
Articles, Notes, Cases, Games & Puzzles, and Reviews (textbooks, software,
etc.).
