The Journal of Applied Irrigation Science is a partial electronic version
of the print journal of the same title.

Description:

       The Journal of Applied Irrigation Science
       (Zeitschrift fŸr BewŠsserungswirtschaft)
       is a bilingual journal containing English and
       German articles with summaries and abstracts in
       both languages. It covers all aspects of the practical
       application of irrigation science. Even it has its
       origin in the irrigation sector of Germany it is
       focussed on the solution of problems faced by
       irrigators in industrialised and Third World
       Countries. Articles are rigorous in depth, and
       range in approach from applied geographical
       analysis to the examination of technical, economic,
       environmental and social issues. 

Objectives:

       The objective of this WWW site is to give an
       overview on the contents of the Journal by
       providing full on-line abstracts and summaries as
       well as additional information which has been
       referred at in the original publications. Furthermore
       on-line registration and order forms for single
       copies are available. 

Maintainers:

       This site is maintained by the Editors of the Journal
       of Applied Irrigation Science in conjunction with
       the DLG-Verlags-GmbH and the Department of
       Rural Engineering and Natural Resource Protection
       at the University of Kassel, Germany.
